We have three options at The Kitchen Garden School.
Option #1 - A full Design and Maintenance package.
Option #2 - On-Site Consultations for Self-Starters
Option #3 - The Online 'Fork to Fork' Course, to complete in your own time.

We work within a 20 mile radius of Newbury, Berkshire. If you are outside of this area, please consider Option #3, the 'Fork to Fork' ONLINE COURSE.

OPTION #1  - THE FULL PACKAGE 
Design, Installation, Maintenance, Mentoring

WHAT IT IS:
A start-to-finish project which takes care of all the elements of a creating a bountiful kitchen garden. Suitable for medium to large gardens with suitable space to dedicate to an annual growing plan . Within each personalised project, our goal is to grow a tailored menu of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, introducing you to new varieties that not only taste delicious, but look beautiful too.
We can design custom planter beds to fit your space and style or work with your pre-existing garden. 'The Kitchen Garden School' spaces are designed to become an integral part of your home, encourage you to get in touch with the seasons, and put food in the foreground of your life.

WHAT YOU GET:
✓ Planning: Initial garden consultation and site assessment, along with a personalised planting schedule and crop layout that will be updated seasonally. 
✓ Maintenance: Bi-monthly visits during the growing season to take care of everything your garden needs, from planting and pruning to fertilising and pest control.
✓ Mentoring: An optional hands-on opportunity for you and your family to learn the principles and nuances of growing food during our visits.
✓ Harvest: A beautiful basket of fresh produce gathered for you during our visits (seasonal).
✓ Garden Notes: Detailed follow-up notes after each visit to inform you about everything going on in your garden, including a harvest list so you know exactly what will be ready to pick between our visits and recipe ideas to help you enjoy it.
The success of The Full Package is achieved through ongoing maintenance and mentoring, ensuring that you and your garden get everything that you need throughout the year.
Price is determined by square footage and scope.  12 months minimum commitment. 


OPTION #2  - ON-SITE CONSULTATIONS
Garden Guidance for Self-Starters

​WHAT IT IS:
​An in-person meeting to thoroughly assess your site and discuss your gardening goals and experience. With this information we’ll create recommendations to put you on the path towards a flourishing garden. This is the best way to get support in renovating those old garden beds or jump-starting your best growing season yet.

WHAT YOU GET:

✓ Annual Planting Schedule: Seeding and (trans)planting dates for your chosen crops, including shortcut tips for those with less free time.
✓ Crop Layout: Garden map of where each crop should be grown to maximise space, sunlight, and productivity.
✓ Expert Tips: Suggestions for successful growing, including what soil amendments to add, irrigation advice, harvesting advice, and pest control.


Price is determined by project size and scope. No long term commitment required.

OPTION #3  - ONLINE COURSE
Our online course is designed for busy people who are motivated to grow an edible garden. Everything you need to know about growing your own, whatever your situation, summed up in 4 easy, enjoyable weeks.
​We’ll cover everything from choosing the perfect site and building healthy soil, to seasonal crop planning and how to seed and transplant.
